REAL SIMPLE CLEANING I loved the idea of this simple cleaning book, breaking down the dirtiest home-cleaning jobs into manageable tasks, into a room-by-room handbook. When designing the pages, we incorporated a grid graph paper background to help present step-by-step techniques and strategies. This gave the affect of a “workbook” for the reader to use for cleaning a healthy home. The structure helped encompass tips on tools and products to keep on hand, troubleshooting hints for stubborn stains and dirt, speed-cleaning recipes and advice on furnishings, fabrics, walls, and flooring. Both a spiral-bound book as well as a bookazine were published.
